The Victorian government is offering a 20% rebate for vehicle registration from Monday 1 June to Friday 31 July 2026 to ease cost of living pressure.
Save up to $186 on registration
The rebate will save the average Victorian up to $186 per vehicle, limited to two vehicles per person, on their 2026 registrations.
Eligible vehicles include cars, wagons (4WD), station wagons, motorcycles, utes, vans, and light trucks (GVM < 4,500kg) that are privately registered.
How to apply
You can apply for the rebate via the Service Victoria app or website from 1 June to 31 July 2026.
